NOTABLE CASES
In addition to deep experience handling significant felony cases from murder to sexual assault to organized crime and racketeering, Brad also has relevant experience representing businesses, local governments, and individuals in major litigation in state and federal court. A legal veteran of 24 years, Brad has handled thousands of cases. Some representative and notable cases are cited below to provide a snapshot of Brad’s capabilities. All of the cases cited below resulted in convictions or favorable outcomes for Brad’s clients. State v. Lash, MNCIS No. 27-CR-07-13434, Theft by Swindle and Public Misconduct/corruption (Bloomington PD) (Jury Trial).

State v. Maxwell, Case No. 27-CR-07-124185, Racketeering, Identity Theft, Swindle / Mortgage Fraud (Bloomington PD, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Commerce) (Jury Trial). This ended up being one of the longest jury trials in Hennepin County history and resulted in the longest prison sentence for mortgage fraud in Minnesota.
